ephemeral

My mother-in-law's got this plant that blooms only once a year and the flowers only last one night before dying and falling off. I was there and took a few shots of one of the flowers in bloom.

From Flowers
From Flowers
From Flowers
From Flowers
From Flowers

Gather ye rose-buds while ye may;
Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today,
Tomorrow will be dying.
~Robert Herrick
